Anyone ever rehair the gigantic CPK pony?

I'm hired to turn one into a more "grown up" pony for a 10 yo.  She loves combing the hair, the tail was one of those spiral root jobs.  Said tail area has now been trimmed out into a quarter sized hole.      Any guesses as to how much hair I'm going to need to re-tail her?

I've done CP fakies, but never the big ones!  Can't wait to see what you create!  Sometimes they use yarn hair if the dollyhair would be to pricey.

I would use yarn, but the kid loves combing the hair.  I'm thinking, depending on how I cut it, a total of 5-6 hanks should do it.  And leftover hair can be used somewhere.
