you can loosev the head of blind bag ponies? O-O i always thought they would be in one piece? or are they new bb and i just don´t know about them?
oh, thank you for that information! O.O and can you maybe reroot it with the tool without getting the head off? sorry, if i ask noobish questions.
Boiling them or soaking in things that remove the adhesive can loosen up them up but otherwise pulling too hard can really damage the neck. I don't usually bother with it I just cut the hair out around the neck carefully. Heat makes them softer so it's easier to cut out the mane/tail once they've been heated. I don't know what custom you are trying to do if you want I can try to pry one of my heads off and trade you for the prepped bait. But like I said getting that head off is annoying unless they were skimpy on the glue in the process. The head is one solid piece. It's solid. So traditional hairing methods do not work. It's pretty easy to get a tail in just drill a hole in the bum after you cut the tail off. But adding a brushable mane is tricky. If you drill plug holes they don't lay well since the head is just one solid piece of plastic and it's hard to make the holes close enough together. If you do a tranch style then you get a more full even looking mane but it's incredibly hard to work with. You have to dig the trench, glue the plugs in place, sculpt around the hair so the trench isn't noticeable. It's a pet project of mine and let me say I am getting close but so far have not been successful.
