So Sprinkles and Bright Night have frizzy, dry hair. Any tips? Here are pics:

They don't look too bad. I'd condition and comb the hair, and if its still frizzy after that, pour boiling water over the hair. Be careful of your hands.

Honestly, I had an Italian pony (Firefly) thrown in for me with a bunch of baity ponies and her hair was a tattered mess! Looked worse than your Sprinkles and I used my hair straightener on her hair (a heat setting of 5 out of 10), wet her hair so it's saturated (I also added a small amount of conditioner through it too, but water mainly) and ran the straightener through the entire lot of hair once or twice before re-wetting the hair and repeated that process until I could divide the hair into smaller sections and worked on those sections. Worked a treat and she definitely isn't bait-worthy now! :D

Good luck and err on the cautious side if you decide to use a hair straightener (especially with tinsel) - use your lowest setting and work the heat settings up (as every device works differently) - you don't want to burn the hair! And don't leave the heat on a section for longer than a second (again burning/melting) - sounds scary but it really does work!

And no, you don't need to remove her head at all for this method - just dry them fully afterwards (because the tail will get wet)

I ll second this - it doesnt look as if they ll need tonnes of work - a soak in conditioner initially and the boiling water treatment if necessary.

Wash, condition, let it and comb through the conditioner - that usually works for me.  :)

If not, next step would be boiling water and/or fabric softener.  Good luck!  :)

If you are having issues brushing through the hair with just conditioner try using fabric softener. I have found that it works much better for ponies with really fizzy hair compared to hair conditioner for people.

Here is some quick ways you can style your ponies hair close its original way if you are afraid to use a hair straighter on it.
