Need some ebay help
« on: June 09, 2012, 05:03:30 AM »
So during the night someone purchased something from me on ebay, paid for it, canceled the payment, and then sends me a message under the "I haven't received my item" topic saying "please ship this item as soon as possible".
I think they're scamming me but what do I do? How do I get my stuff relisted without paying fees again?
How do I report this person? How do I block them? I guess I'm really new at selling on ebay...:(

Yep this looks really alot like scamming!
This people make sick! I would call ebay and explain what is happening. If I am right they can see what this person is doing and they can take action.
Let us know the outcome please!

Ps. If this turn out to really be a scanmer pkease enter the name in the title when you know it because when she is a scammer i think no one will want to deal with her ^.^

Ok will do! Does anyone happen to have a phone number for ebay? I did block this person but I want to talk to someone in person about my options. I did do a "cancel transaction" thing they send to the buyer, but, I'm sure they won't reply :( The name is weirzen2011 and they only have one feedback.

I think whe you go to the ebay site of your country you have a page named contact and there you can find a phone number. But I don't know for sure.
Really hope it works out!

Oh they *did* allow me to cancel, how noble -.- I still don't know how to report them though. Why can't ebay be more user friendly with this type of thing? Geesh. They are in a lot of other ways but this is confusing.

I most definitely would call ebay and explain the situation.  They are trying to pull a fast one on you. :(

I would go ahead and block the ID so they cannot purchase anything else from you in the meantime.  To answer your question on how to block them, go to your MY EBAY and if you look down in Alerts & To Do's it will be towards the bottom and says: Block Bidder's.  Just click that and enter the ID.

It will be pretty ovious to ebay what happened and they will tell you how to proceed with getting your listing and FV fees back.

So sorry that happened to you!  I have added their ID to the TraderList... certainly nobody wants to deal with this person wandering into their Ebay sales!

oh noes! more dodgy ebay buyers *sigh*  :(  I'm glad you blocked them and didnt go through with the sale  :bigups:   I'm not sure if its exactly the same on ebay US (but it should be similar).. to report a member, click on "customer support" (its on the top right of the page), then choose "contact ebay" .  Next click on "selling" and you will see a list of subjects. In the last column you will see (under "ebay rules and policies", ) "report Member" , then "report a buyer who didnt pay for an item". the two options on the left of the next page prolly arent useful at this point, but on the right side you'll see ways to contact ebay - there is calling them (the phone number and times they are available to call should show), live chat, or emailing them.  Then  let ebay know what happened (prolly calling them would get the best response... )  :awake:  Hope that helps a bit
