First custom plushie! Looking for tips and advice:) *pic heavy*

I'm jumping on the plushie bandwagon:)
This is what I have of my first one so far. She's intended to be a baby princess luna.
She's a little lopsided and you can see her stitching and her ears look more like horns than ears lol:) But I'm still dead proud of her since I can't even take up my own trousers, never mind this usually lol.
I'd be grateful for any tips or tricks:)
What could I use for the eyes? I have everything else covered but I think it would look really weird if I used fur for the eyes.

awesome shaping on her hon well done! How are you handsewing make felt eyes? To give an idea here are some I have done (though on felt on felt)

mine are pretty basic but you can add layers. I sew how I want to do the eyes first then apply them on to the base. I have done these on fur as well and it does work but havent got piccies x

sent another reply.. but wow this pony looks goregous so far and so fluffy gosh i cant wait to see what this one turns out like which pony is this one based on a oc or a charecter  from the show , it looks like you put a lot of time into this plush cool

If you want to spend the money, someone On DA sells patches for the eyes. You can also make your own by embroidering another fabric. You could also go with a button sort of eye and embroider lashes so its like the baby ponies from the series
