AWesome ponies everyone!! I LOVE those TE G3s! Fantastic! I have plans for a few G3 TEs... someday...

And thank you all for the kind words for my TE Blindbags! They were so much fun!

Is it bad... that I apologize to the pony before I drill or cut out their eyes to turn them into TEs? O.o

The ones I used... I got at Michaels. They have a lot of cool jewels that could work (tho not many that are "perfect" matches to the originals...).

i saw a beautiful moondancer TE i think on ebay    i really should of tryed harder to bid but i might of been broke at the time, iv also seen TE g4 somewhere.....waiting......

I'm not a big TE fan either but WOW these are amazing!  Especially Mama Gusty, Dark Mimic, and Beacon.  And cheers to the transformation of Baby Frosting into Baby Mimic.  The eye holes were already there, and really anything done to Baby Frosting has to constitute an improvement.

Terrific thread! I'm not sure why I love TEs so much, but I DO! They, along with so-softs, make up most of the G1s that made the cut onto my display shelves. And they make up about half of my G4 customs these days, heh. But I never even thought about making ponies that weren't originally TEs into them. May need to look into that myself!! And you guys are making me braver about taking the leap into cutting a place for the jewels rather than just gluing them on top of the eyes.

I especially *squee'd* over Gusty and that black and white Mimic-like pony.
