I've never tried to sunfade any pony before, but I have a light purple-colored Windy with Sharpie marks. Will attempting to sunfade the Sharpie lighten the purple color of the pony? How long does sunfading typically take?

Sunfading is a tricky business.  The light purple is likely to fade somewhat.  Hopefully the sharpie will fade off, I know regular pen marks will, not as sure about permanent marker.  Sunfading can really vary in time it takes depending on where you live, what season it is, and how bad the marks are.
