Corset pony help
« on: May 02, 2012, 10:57:52 AM »
I am wanting to start sculpting a bit more (did my first bit last night and it turned out great!)  and now the bug has bitten me...I want to learn to sculpt a corset pony but I have no idea where to begin.  Any suggestions, or is it just one of those, start and have fun as you go kind of things?

Any advice and help is greatly appreciated!

Practise makes perfect:)
I like to roll out a bit of apoxie really thin and long and drape it over the pony to form the outline first. Then I fill it in with small circles and smooth together.
This just works for me:) I like to be able to see the shape as soon as possible.
The laces really are just practice. I've only just been able to do them properly lol:)

All that and lotion! I use my xacto knife to carve off the excess. I use a mechanical pencil tip to make the holes for the laces. One without lead.
