2.   What subject do you wish you had paid more attention to in school? Nothing.  The subjects that I still don't know much in don't affect me enough to really care.  Plus, those are my husband's strong subjects, so I usually just ask him if I have questions

3.   What song do you love to dance to? Pretty much everything.  ESPECIALLY if I'm in the car.

4.   What was the worst punishment your parents ever enacted? When I was little bitty, they used to tell me that I was "grounded for life," and I always thought that they were saying that I was "grounded *from* Life," as in the cereal.  It was the worst. Threat. Ever.

5.   If you did not need the money what would you do for work? I'd run a rescue to socialize retired research dogs and cats to adopt out to new homes.

6.   What grown-up job did you want to have when you were a child? Veterinarian.

7.   If you had a time machine and you could go back and change anything, what would it be? Hmmm... never board my horses at a specific stable in Florida.

8.   What toppings do you like to put on your pizza? It depends on where it comes from (usually, I just eat plain cheese)

9.   What do you feel strongly enough about to protest? I'm a pretty avid animal welfare advocate.

10.   What smell reminds you of home? lol, critters.  Not stinky critters, but critters.

11.   Where are you most likely to be at 8:00 on a Saturday night? Probably in the barn with my horses.

12.   If you had a year off with pay, what would you do? Hmm... I don't know.  I'd probably try to get on board as a working student for one of the current "masters" of classical dressage.

13.   On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you with your life right now? Eh, at this exact moment, I'm probably a 9.  Overall, It's probably closer to a 5.

14.   What is the largest crowd you have ever been in? I don't know... I've been everywhere from professional football games to concerts to theme parks that had their openings delayed so everyone was crammed up to the gates.  I have no idea how many people were at any of those places.

15.   What is your idea of heaven? Heaven in the spiritual sense, I think is pretty much perfection, with no worry, lots of happiness, and the presence of all of the loved ones that had passed before me.  Heaven in the material sense, I'd have to say about 100 acres with 50 set aside for hay growth and someone to bale it and put it up for me, a small, cozy cottage for me, my husband and my dogs to live in, and my hobby farm.

16.   What small town would you like to live in? I haven't been to enough small towns to know which one I like the most, but I am perfectly happy living the small town life

17.   What job did you have that you would never want to work again? Government contractor, at least through the group that I was working with.

18.   Would you rather be rich or healthy? Healthy, hands down.

19.   What is the best adaptation of a book to a movie? I've yet to see one that has made me think that it was done really well.

20.   When was the first time you realized you are good at your job? Well, I'm currently unemployed, but am working on starting up an equestrian program to teach youth (and beginner adults) about riding and horsemanship.  When I lived in Florida, I would get contacted by complete strangers saying things along the lines of "You don't know me, but I got your name from so-and-so, who is a friend of this person, and they said that you might be able to help me with xyz problem with my horse...."  People I didn't know were contacting me for help!  It felt amazing

23.   What did you do during your childhood summers? Depends on what year it was, but it usually involved a LOT of playing outside.

25.   What is the best invention during your lifetime? Hmmm... this one is going to take some deeper thinking than I think I want to put in right now, but if I had to name one off the top of my head, it would probably be the little syringe thing that insta-makes sushi.

27.   What creeps you out? Quite a few things, but doll eyes/eyes in general are at the very top of the list.

28.   Is there a child who looks up to you? Honestly, I'm not sure.  I tend to have a pretty casual approach with most children, and I think that, while they keep respect for me, they feel comfortable enough to consider me more on friendly terms than necessarily a mentor.

30.   Where were you on September 11th 2001? At school - at the exact moment the news exploded, I was in homeroom.

31.   Do you feel you have a purpose or calling in life? I do, to the deepest part of my being.

32.   Who taught you to cook? I still don't really cook, but my mom taught me to be a pretty awesome baker, if I can be so bold to say.

33.   Do you believe in God? Absolutely! (That said, I am not the kind of person to assume that others do.  You respect my beliefs, and I'm more than happy to do the same of yours.)

35.   What is your favorite book? At the moment, I'm pretty indulged in Thomas Ritter's "The Biomechanical Basics of Classical Riding."  I'm pretty sure this was meant for fiction writing, but I have trouble reading fiction without trying to edit it.

36.   Who taught you to drive? It took both of my parents *and* my brother.  I was a slow learner behind the wheel.

37.   What movie inspires you? I can't say that there are any movies that inspire me.

38.   What was your favorite food when you were a child? Probably macaroni and cheese.  It probably still is.

39.   What’s the #1 most played song on your phone? My phone doesn't have real songs, and my ring tone is Vegeta from DBZ yelling "Kusodare!  Big Kabong Attaaaaaack!"  Cracks me up EVERY TIME!

40.   What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Loading dishes into the dishwasher and folding laundry.  I will put dishes away and run the wash all day long, but I *hate* the other two parts.

41.   What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Flying.  I have a wild imagination and a healthy dose of paranoia.

42.   What sound do you love? This is really weird, but the sound of my dogs eating.  There's something that makes me happy knowing that they are filling their tummies up.  A close second is that little crunchy noise that birds make right before they fall asleep <3

43.   If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Probably 17 or 18.  It has nothing to do with youth or "freedom," but more to do with the things that I wish I would have done.  I missed a lot of opportunities, trying to make other people happy at that time.

44.   If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I'm not sure - I usually set out to learn the things that interest me.  I believe that learning should never end, so if you're curious, go find your answers!

45.   If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? I'd stay myself, I think.

46.   When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? Usually checking the internet, but I usually don't have much free time.  I'm pretty dilligent about making and keeping to schedules, so I often even have internet time planned out (except for weekend days).

47.   What would you name the autobiography of your life? "Finding Yourself".  Maybe.  I'm terrible with titles.

51.   What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? My first horse, Billers.  Possibly the pewter cross that my great grandfather left for me after he passed.  He carried it with him every day, and I keep it with me always.
