Help, I broke the MH head thingy

In my uneducated mind, I thought popping a MH head off was like that of a barbie. Little did I know that it had much more then a wobble disk.
I pulled the head off, and the pink ring part broke. Making matters worst I got some pliers thinking if I just could get the pink thingy out, I could just snap it on to the new head. Well the pliers mauled the pink ring.

Is there any way to make a new one or replace the mechanism that connects the head and body together? I would be ever so grateful.

I did that to a Liv body I wanted to put a Moxie Teenz head on. I dunno what I am gonna do with the body now.

I pulled the plug off of a MH body and then replaced it with a sculpted ball like on the CAM dolls. It can keep the head on okay, but if you try to turn the head, it pops off. >.< I really wish I hadn't done that...

I guess the best solution for me is to just get another body and put the one without the thingy up for trade or something. Someone out there might want it for something. Yea I wish I had known about the trick to get the head off, then I could have had 2 long haired Ghoulias.
