Hey look at my very pretty flowers...

My Violets are just blooming like crazy right now. Last year they really didn't bloom like this. I don't know what is going on. Perhaps it was the, "Hi precious Violet girls." I gave them all winter LOL.    They say plants like to feel loved. I guess mine do.  This  is Ingrid, Phillis and Violetta...yep I name each violet plant.

Aw, they're beautiful! I also subscribe to the 'plants need love' thing - I think that's why my peace lily wont stop growing!

Very pretty!  My grandfather was an avid gardener and he always talked to his plants, so I think there's something to it.

wow lovely african violets !! i have a gerbra plant in my kitchen called gill ! i had to cut off alot of leaves a while ago as they were getting tatty but its come back with a vengence and has flowers on it again

I've always wanted some for in the house, but I have a tendency to kill house plants. (So far some reallly old Jade I got from a co-worker is surviving. I'm thinking this stuff is at least 40 years old!!!)

I kill house plants too. I don't know why but these plants will only be happy in the bathroom window. Anywhere else in the house they will die. I have learned the hard way so all Violets go on the shelf in front of the window in the bathroom.  It must be the way the sun comes in that window or something.
