Stories behind symbols/cutie marks?
« on: March 25, 2012, 11:47:08 AM »
I thought this might be a fun topic.

Going by the G4/FiM idea that a pony earns their cutie mark when they discover their special talent, how do you think some of the ponies got theirs? This doesn't have to be limited to G4/FiM ponies; if you think somepony might have an interesting story behind how they got their symbol, feel free to share it.

Hmm, I think maybe Diamond Rose got hers because like Rarity, she has a special talent of finding gems. However, Diamond Rose specialty is finding Ponyville's finest and rarest gem - the pink Diamond!
...That's all I've got.

Oh wait! Maybe Little Flitter got her symbol because she liked to pretend she was a hummingbird and followed them around.

...Cotton Candy got hers because she... Likes... Hail or..Snow. :lmao:

Still LF: Blue-haired G2 Ivy..Help me find my childhood friend!
Have you seen her? :awake:

Obviously Medley's has to do with music! Seaspray might have a good eye/attention to detail, as she found out by beachcombing.

From her backcard, I think Sunrise Song is good at bird calls.
