Happy Birthday Girl Scouts!

We had a small party today at our Council Headquarters.  The big one is in May but hey they even had cake!  Amazing to be part of something that has been making girls strong for 100 years!

I was in the 4th grade during the 75th anniversary and went to a three day campout in celebration. I saw Whitney Houston, Burl Ives and Donny Osmond perform on each of the three nights I was there (Southern Cali.) Now 25 years later I am a Leader with my own 4th graders. I love scouting and the positive impact it has had on so many lives!
Here's to 100 more!
