pondering pony types in my head today.....

I was thinking I like g1 pegasus but the skydancer type wings really aren't that cute or made right
I mean they look better on a heartthrob pose so I like that pose more but then the flutter wings are so pretty even if fragile but the wingers are the best and my favorite
The g4 wing is adorable...so to me I like pegasus but if the wing is done right
and why is it if Hasbro throws a darn horn on a pony I like it even more just because it got that horn...I mean if Hasbro threw horns on all those earth ponies would I like some more then I do now....just pondering this...have you ever felt this too

I think it's because winged and horned horses are magical, and who doesn't like magical creatures?

The wing style definitely makes a difference....I would like the g1 pegs a lot more if they had big, dramatic wings

I like them...I think G1 unis and pegs suit their wings and horns and likewise for G4...I do prefer Earth ponies over both but thats a personal taste!!!

But as OL1 says I think people sometimes prefer unis and pegs because of the extra magical aspect to them...

The style of the wings is def a deal breaker or maker for me as well.
Too bad the G3s have such bizarre wings

I do like the molded wings, flutter wings break too easily.

I tend to actually prefer earth ponies~ I'm not opposed to pegasi, unicorns, or other fancyfied pony types, but I think I feel a little bit bad for most earth ponies for being "normal" and not "magical," so I like them better out of pity.

I've always been partial to pegasus.  :3
I used to think the G1 wings were odd, but now I find them cute, although the poor ponies would never be able to get off the ground. 
G3 wings look waaay too small to me. As for G4s, their wings look great from a visual aspect, but they get in the way when I'm styling manes.  >.<  Darn things!

My favourite pegasi are the high flying beauties
