G4 Scootaloo
« on: February 14, 2012, 03:00:08 PM »
Today I found the Cutie Mark Crusaders set with Cheerilee!
I was very excited!

Unfotunately, Scootaloo had very light orange body,
while her head was much darker orange...

Has anyone else noticed that??
I would like to see pics of your Scootaloo!

I've seen a couple in stores, and they've been mismatched. I suppose with different materials used from head to body, it's quite common.

Thanks Kittybethy! :)
Could you please show any pic of her?

Maybe I must look for it in other stores.

Surprisingly my Scootaloo has been one of the few ponies not terribly affected by a mismatching head and body.
Also why do most people believe show accurate hair is best?!  :(

Her head is actually a little bit lighter but I'm afraid my :muffin: Pony awful phone camera can't take good pictures, and my normal camera doesn't...Take good pictures indoors.
Still LF: Blue-haired G2 Ivy..Help me find my childhood friend!
Have you seen her? :awake:

My Scootaloo has a matching head & body. I'd take a pic, except it's the middle of the night and I don't think I could get a good enough pic right now. I've noticed that most ponies with the head/body mismatch problem do have varying degrees of how bad it is. Like while most people kept finding Feathermay with bad head/body mismatch, I ended up finding one at Wal-Mart just before Christmas that had almost no difference between the head & body color. I think Twilight Sparkle is the only pony where it's impossible to find one with a matching head & body color.

I think G4 is doomed to head/body mismatches....I have given up trying to find a Feathermay that does not suffer from this...its not major on my Scoot but its certainly noticeable and it was evident on the others on the shelf too
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

My Scootaloo is a little mismatched, too, but my Cheerilee from that set is mismatched as well.

I hadn't actually noticed the mismatch. I'll have to take a look when I get home~

My Scootaloo has a lighter head than body....O_o complete opposite of what my Twilight Sparkle has. But Scootaloo's head was lesss...shiny? (More matte?) than her body. I've noticed that on alot of my ponies. Their heads don't have any shine to them like a sealant or finish, but their bodies do. I wonder if that's the reason for the mismatched head/body colors....?

Still, would probably hang onto her because if you dared try and report the problem to Hasbro customer service, they might send you something pretty random or nothing at all. Maybe you could swap with someone until you find one you like?

My Scootaloo is almost uniform...the difference is so small that you can only see it under a bright light.

I have two Twilight Sparkles and the standing pose one is much more mismatched than the walking pose one.
