Did original takara ponies have tails?

Yes they do

If you Google them you can see some pictures that show their tails. I searched for Milky (she's the only one whose name I know)

Yes they do! I didn't know they had a tail until I saw a back picture of one It is a rooted tail and quite short and thin.
