My Little Pony Wedding Bells with Confetti Pony

Hi all, I have nearly completed this set, although I mustn't jinx it yet! However I'm not sure about the ribbon. I found one photo that shoes a light blue ribbon. In the comic she appears to be wearing a light pink ribbon. Does anyone know what ribbon came with this set?

I had a look at a few MIB pictures but can't see anything obvious. I would edge towards the possibility of blue or white - white for the wedding theme or blue because it matches her brush, and 'something blue' of course...but I genuinely don't know. I never had Confetti from new and have never seen one in person MIB. Just photos.

Though it isn't visible as far as I can see in mib photos, her box definitely says she had one.

I think there's an Argos photo of her from a catalogue in 86 or 87. The accessories in those photos are often correct as it seems like they deboxed a lot of toys to photo them for the catalogue...

Edit: Ack. I found and checked that but there's no ribbon in that photo either. If she is wearing it, it;s under her dress.. :/

I just found a YouTube video where an owner shows the set mint in box. She noted that the set came with a ribbon but couldn't see it iether and she had it in her hands! Thanks for all the digging Taffeta! Hopefully someone might know, otherwise I shall go with light blue as a placeholder.

In this ad her brush is described as the "something blue", but then again there's no reason her ribbon couldn't also be blue . . . Unfortunately they don't show it and ads aren't always 100% accurate anyway.

Edit:  I found this video of a MIB one.  Around 2:59 it looks like the ribbon might be taped across the brush, but it could also be part of the box . . . ?

That's lovely, thank you. I've not seen the advert before and I shall save it to my files. My sticker did finally arrive although a little bit wonky I can live with it. I'll post pictures soon!

I'm trying to avoid getting Fetti's box out of my cupboard as it will cause an avalanche, but I think...in the video, that's the box inlay, where the brush fits into it. I may have some photos of it before I put it away. It's just the box, not the pony MIB, but I do have the inlay with it. I'll try and have a look when it's a more sociable hour.

I admit, I'd forgotten the comic ad but it's not really giving more of a clue.

I'm wondering whether the ribbon is like the flutters and taped into the box rather than being visible.

If the box didn't explicitly have 'ribbon' written on it, I'd think they'd changed their mind, but...it does. And the comic mentioning it so specifically makes me think she must have had one.

Maybe it was white, then, if it's not the 'blue' thing *hrm*.
