Honeycomb/Suprise

I received Honeycomb this morning as a trade. (None Arena related)

I was thinking how similar she looks to Suprise - is that just chance or is Honeycomb a UK version of Suprise?

I love her and have been looking for her for a good while so to finally have her here is fab!

Honeycomb and Suprise are definitely different ponies Do you have both in hand? If so, check their symbols, they have different ones (Suprise has balloons and Honeycomb has bees). I agree though, at first glance you can easily mix them up.

Nah! They're definitely different ponies. Hasbro does like to reuse color schemes a lot. Congrats! I can't wait for you to show her off.

I agree they are different ponies. They also probably have very different backcards. I have both and their babies. I got a baby surprise/Surprise army. I love to added plushie honeycomb to that army someday.

What is funny is that Honeycomb's baby has yellow hair instead of chartruse, like her mom... kind of a golden yellow...
I am obsessed with Surprise forever and i was deligthted to see that Honeycomb had the same color scheme exactly...

So i got myself one in MINT state (still have to find her kid, though)

I can't check Suprise as I don't have her sadly - its taken me long enough to secure Honeycomb - I love the combination of the white body and yellow mane and tail

Here she is!  She was a bit lonely down here when she arrived ( My pony herd lives upstairs) so Wave Runner came down to keep her company!

Besides the symbol difference, Honeycomb also has straight hair instead of curly.

But I do wish she had golden yellow hair like her baby.  It would go with her name and symbol better.

I always think as honeycomb as the uk version of surprise I know they are different ponies but they where released around the same years, kind of like twins but not identical

Yeah, it's kind of hard not to think of it that way. They do look so similar!

I got Honeycomb on my UK trip before last (I go every few years to visit my husband's family), and she really is a special pony all her own. I'd really like Baby Honeycomb someday.

Me too, she'd be much more special like that, not to mention gorgeous! Now I don't really need her because I already have Surprise.
