Detangling tutorials?
« on: January 04, 2017, 05:46:41 PM »
Hey all! God, I haven't been here in years. How are y'all?

I've had some old G1s who's hair is all an absolute mess, and I'm finally going to detangle them. I've found basic instructions for detangling straight haired ponies, but one of them is a Rosedust with matted curls. It the process the same for detangling curly haired ponies? I'm not planning on recurling her hair, I just want the mats out of her and a few others I have.

Thank you in advance!

I just wanted to post a Christmas Hair Story here. I got a toy horse for one of my nieces. The horse came from a second-hand store, and I wasn't sure if she would want her, so I didn't put any effort into her- no combing, no washing, no tag removal. The niece wanted her and was thrilled to play with her, but the next time I saw that horse, the girl's mother was ATTACKING it with a comb. Yanking, pulling, tearing the hair out of this poor horse. I took the horse from her and gently combed (it wasn't really that bad, just needed some patience) her, and told the mom she was never allowed in the pony room without proper adult supervision! Hahaha!

Hopefully your combing adventure goes better!
Thanks so much to Calico_Star for her beautiful work on my Avatar!

Damn, that's chilling. I'd expect that from kids. It killed me to have to buy and give a G3 to my cousin's kid so she'd stop grabbing mine, knowing what was going to happen to that pony...
