Hmm, i wonder if the numbers are the IDs of the people who did quality control on them since none of them seem to match  :huh: Plus i looked on a few of my g3s and the numbers feel like they were stamped on and not part of the original mold.

Very good point! These stamped numbers all seem irregular, like they were added after production. Maybe QC is the answer?

I wish I still had all my extra G3s, I would check them all!   But sadly I sold them all in a couple mass lots . . .

I think I remember discussions about this when G3s were still in production, and people found the same pony (released at the same time) with different numbers.  So Yukiru's idea about it pertaining to quality control seems very plausible!  Or like batch number of plastic or something.
