TOWNWIDE TAGSALE! G1 MLP...

MY LITTLE PONY 1980s $5 pre-loved vintage ponies, incl. TE, SS, BBE, etc.  plus other various collector equines like scheilch & vast variety in fakies, some other character toys and playsets, nothing mint, but good affordable stuff for both kids and the young at heart,  plus my friend will bring small appliances and antiques, we are friends combining forces in the tagsale bonanza!

Ours is at 335 Butternut ST just above a park/pond. Saturday Sept. 17th from 8:30-2:30, this is the day of the Middletown Connecticut Townwide Tagsale (maps to all the tag sales will be available from Holy Trinity Church http://holytrinity.ctdiocese.org/News/newsView.asp?NewsId=40968934 ) so after you see our hoard of classic treasures or if we sell out early, you can still drive around our town and see many other folk's toys! Middletown has like an astounding 79 tag sales planned for this Saturday!

Early birds turned away. Come to treasure hunt in Middletown CT rain or shine bronies! Yes this is real. I've nerve damage in my hands/arms so online pony auctions are a literal pain and I must thin my herd again!

I've been absorbed in my own life and haven't collected socially over the last few years & I thought I knew what 'brony” meant... simply a term for any male pony collector who is open with their love of ponies... I first encountered one of the guys as a playmate in 1984 and later on I do remember the nice guy collectors on this site who actually had their own male forum right here long before FIM existed. But after trying to catch up on-line, I am not so 100%  sure anymore that I am using 'brony' correctly in my ad, or that it still  generally means what I'd thought it did... so let me try to be clearer what I meant.
 I have mainly G1s and very few G2s, little  G3-3.5,  zero FIM, zero Equestria Girls. I also plan on putting out a nice variety of fakies, both for fakie-lovers and the kids whom I expect would tend to show up with parents and play around a bit. I just do not collect FIM ponies, I liked them initially and understand some persons of color do, but other persons of color and allies don't and my feelings changed for them after  seeing the Zebra and Buffalo episodes just not feeling the magic personally in FIM anymore and thankfully before I had ever heard of  so called Muffin Pony. As for the dolls well, rainbow ponies with four legs have just always been my alternative in a pink barbie doll world. I've been asserting this taste since 1984.  All I've got is old school.
I invited bronies because I wanted to welcome all “peace, love, and tolerance” loving collectors to the sale, and am glad that men both straight AND LGBTQA today feel more comfortable to embrace their brotherhood fandom for ponies. I am saddened to notice there seems to be something of organized bullying going on in the wider web, including sexist, homophobic, fat-shaming remarks directed at the people on THIS arena, what used to be just isolated trolling on us has somehow become more prevalent across the web in an astoundingly short number of years.
So-
  I want to be clear about it, it's more important to me to have a tag sale that is a safe space for diverse collectors in the mix than it is to me if I profit from any visitors at all. I'm glad that pony loving people are  still diverse and I'd like to see it stay this way in the fandom I've literally been into since I was three. All of you true to “peace, love, and tolerance” are welcome to make the trip here to our sale, pack the kids up knowing there's parks nearby & toys affordable to youngsters. I hope you have fun, I look forward to seeing other cool collectors and with any bit of luck I won't need to say more Saturday to anyone else out there.
