Here is a pic of my faded Desert Rose

Ponyfan

I know this is a thread about fading-pink hair, but...My Pretty Mermaid! I've only ever found two, the struggle to collect them is so real for me lol.

OMG, I noticed her too!! She looks exactly like one of my childhood mermaids - except mine has a rainbow-y tail, I think she was a re-release? I've found exactly ONE My Pretty Mermaid for sale during my past year in a vintage toy collector group, they're so cute!! I had two as a kid, now I have three! (Not that I need any incentive to collect cute things... :P)

Anyway, I do suspect that the first release of G4 Fluttershy may have had the fading-pink hair; it had that sort of semi-translucent consistency that the other fading-pink ponies have. The nurse pony, meanwhile, has more 'matte' hair, IMO of course. :)

Now that I actually have Nurse Redheart, I need to compare her to my Fluttershy (the baggie version) and see if I can tell a difference, lol. I'll have to see if I can maybe get a good photo.

Thanks ClawleenMeowlen and SnapDragon. :) She is my one and only childhood My Pretty Mermaid. I'd love to add more but haven't yet,

G3 Blue Mist also fades, I think.  When I got mine in a lot with some other ponies, I had trouble figuring out who she was because I was looking up blue ponies with white hair, not pink.
