I really, really don't want to pay shipping for a box that big... I guess I'm just not meant to own NMM 

Why don't you offer to PP someone with Amazon Prime the $20 for her and have them have the box mailed to you?  I do that all the time when I order pet supplies for a rescue I work with.

I tried 3 more stores today, and finally found her at the last one in the area - a Walmart. She was the  only one, surrounded by 2 or 3 Celestias. So yeah, she is out there, but she's very hard to find.

I have Prime, but I was afraid to order online because from the experience I've had, she and Celestia have the same product number/code, for some reason. At GameStop I was told that one couldn't tell the difference between the products online, and I had a similar experience today at Barnes and Noble - I reserved NMM online, went through her product page specifically, and when I got there, they had Celestia waiting for me. If I hadn't found her today I would've gone online, but I wanted to exhaust my other options first

Definitely depends on the store-  NEVER order anything from Kmart because they always send a random doll from any lot.

But I ordered mine from Toysrus-  they sent the right one.  I think they sell out all the time but also get restocked all the time...

Don't forget that if you go to GameStop, you can usually ask the manager to order an item that's out of stock at their location from another store. My GameStops are always ordering things from other stores for me.

Yeah, I got both of mine at Walmart for $20 each. I normally don't like to spend the full retail price on G4, just because I feel they tend to be overpriced for the quality, but for these figures I sucked it up, lol. I had a feeling people might start marking them up to more than retail the second they get them on eBay; sad to see that I was right. 

Don't forget that a lot of stores like Walmart, Target, and TRU allow you to order online and have it shipped to a local store for pick-up - free shipping that way! They usually allow you to check the inventory at your local stores online as well. I always do this rather than drive around or calling, because I hate talking on the phone

i own a Nightmare Moon, although i'm yet to own a Celestia, and i got her at Barnes and Noble. she was the last one surrounded by a bunch of Celestias and Discords. her box was kinda banged up on the corners, but she displays very nicely out of box! i hope  everyone who wants her can find her, best of luck

I think I saw some in the Walmart near me. It's only $20 there.
