When I first started collecting G2s back in 2013 ,I let go these beauties ,I felt they were too high and I would find them again and boy was I so wrong , never seen them again ,should have bided higher but I was too green on the whole g2 and ebay itself I guess.

I went after the a loose Blue Haired Blue Ivy shortly after as consolation , and It was a hefty price on her ,but glad i got her, she also does not come up very often.

For me this is what tends to happen every time I want to bid on a German Princess Serena. I either lose my nerve (since they can be more expensive than what I'd normally pay for a pony) or something dumb happens like being outbid, our car getting a flat tire, my dog eating something funky and needing a trip to the vet, etc.

I've managed to get a hold of most of the ones that got away on me. But about a month ago I won a Garden Play Case for like $20 including shipping. Seller never shipped it and my refund is currently pending. So that one is still kinda sad :/

Is this the g2 one? If so, I've got the shell for it and I'd be more than happy to sell it to you!

But on topic, mine is g1 seven tales clover! I always miss out! ;(

OMG SAME! I was JUST outbid today! I really want all the starry G1 ponies someday, she is my #1 saught after G1.

I also keep forgetting about Locket!

In a real longterm ongoing sense, Baby Sugarcake. Basically she's been the last regular release pony I've been looking for since about 2001. And she's way out of my price range now. So there will almost certainly never be one.

In terms of missed chances, MOC Baby CJ for BIN $30. Not quick enough. This was a long long time ago so don't know if the original winner is still in the community, but if so, congrats on an amazing steal

Also, in a more recent and genuinely, personally heart-wrenching scenario, MIB Baby Tic Tac Toe in her UK box. A childhood pony and I've looked for a long time. Finally found one, but she either was never sent or went missing in the post. I got a full refund, but that's not the point. At least now I know what I'm looking for. *sigh*.

Excuse me while I go bang my head against the wall. I'm like 99% I saw her maybe a week and half ago and thought she was fake because I didn't know a set like that existed and her hair was blonde instead of orange, figured she was a Light Heart knock off with convincing packaging...

I have two i remember : A lot of g1s with mimic, a big brother and maybe 15 other ponies for 10 euros.I sent an e-mail to the seller, and he answered me 3 days after saying someone was coming to see them that day.
And recently a paradise estate in great condition for 20 euros... saw it too late, it was already sold.

I can't find her anymore (I was seriously retracing my steps and scouring my internet history after I read that). It was on Ebay. I had clicked on a seller out of curiosity (bored habit) - either some they had came up on my feed, or I had also looked through a few's items during some price checks.

I've had a few ponies/pony items that I've missed out on over the years, but this one I still think about often 

Last year I was searching craigslist garage sales for ponies and came across a sale that had 2 playsets (in box) and a box of ponies with accessories on a table pictured. It was posted for the following day, unfortunately I worked that day and had no one to stop by the garage sale for me  I couldn't see the prices for anything and I'm always afraid about messaging a craigslist seller because in my past experience it never goes well (rude sellers, raised prices because of interest, no response, won't hold items).

I had really wanted to call off work for that day, but seeing that they were selling many antiques I just told myself that the prices would probably be ridiculous and I just didn't have a whole lot of extra money for it. I decided that work was more important and I needed the money, not to spend more ! 

So the next day I went to work as planned, and thought about that garage sale all day. 

But the following day I didn't have to work, and I decided to go to that garage sale anyway! I got to the garage sale and from the drive way I could see a playset waaaaaay in the back of the garage on the table and ran to it. It was the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe, everything in the box (including instructions!). And the best part? Only. 6. Dollars. I couldn't believe it ! My excited was short lived though, as I looked around and couldn't find the other playset (Baby Bonnet School of Dance) or the box of ponies pictured  I asked the lovely ladies selling and they said someone had already bought the rest of the pony items the day before 

While I am still thrilled that I was able to get one playset, and for such a steal, I'm still totally bummed that I missed out on the rest  I'm sure the prices would have been similar and who knows what awesome ponies could have been in that box !

At the end of the day, I wish I had called in sick to work for that garage sale
