Pony hair color ID? + More restoration questions
« on: July 13, 2016, 09:06:12 PM »
What dollyhair color is the streak in SS Button's hair? I got one with really bad flocking, deflocked her then realised her hair is a LOT worse than i thought it was.

I'm thinking of going with Atomic Turquoise for the blue, or maybe Water Nixie? I'd like to rehair both her and Daddy Bright Boquet at once (can I? are they the same color?)

What's the best method for removing pin dot? I tried boiling and scraping but it's not coming out. I can't get oxyclean here so that's not really an option as well. We have some stuff called Vanish Power O2 but I'm not sure if it's the same thing?

Also, is it safe to sunfade Sugarberry, Blossom and the birthflower pony? Thanks!

The blue of Daddy Bright Bouquet's hair closely matches the strands of Water Nixie I have at home. Also, I'm currently sunfading Sugarberry, and she's coming along really nicely! :)

Here are some threads that might help  you with sunfading:

My guess for the streak would be Heart Throb..? Though I've been wrong in the past x)
Did you try running the pidot pony under very warm water, and scrubbing heavily with a firm-bristled toothbrush? That's worked for me in the past, but takes a lot of patience and elbow grease.

I've tried that, it didn't work for me ): I might customise her if I can't get it off.

If you can get hydrogen peroxide, you can mix it with washing soda (or baking soda but its less effective) and make homemade oxyclean
