So, a funny story about Weepinbell (Pokemon Y)

So lately I have been trying to catch a shiny gligar for my friend, as he has caught me tons of shinies, and he has no way of getting Gligar. This is in Pokemon Y, and Gligar is in one location in XY. Rte 19. I have the Shiny Charm, but shiny gligar is, as yet, unfound.

I could trade for one, but that would ruin the point of my catching one. So I am going to persist.

However, in my attempts to catch a shiny gligar, I have found a couple of shiny Weepinbells.

And by a couple, I mean six.

Sigh.

I have a small army of shiny Weepinbells.

And I have no idea what to do with them.

I love grass types, and I'm going to give one to my friend, but I already had a shiny weepy from before, which I found randomly without the charm, and I already evolved it to Victreebel.

So I don't really know what to do with the others. I can't put them on the GTS because people there don't trade honestly and give you a regular pokemon for a shiny because the server doesn't differentiate.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I would love to trade one or two for other non-cheat non-event shinies (not gligar, though, of course!) but my game is at home and I'm in London right now, so I couldn't do it right away. But when I am home, would anyone be interested in giving a shiny Weepy a home?

Lol that's really funny! xD I'm sorry you didn't get a shiny gligar, but that's good to see your shiny charm works!  I think weepinbell is fond of you!  Shiny victreebell is actually neat looking if you wanted to evolve one. I wish I could take one off of your hands but sadly I don't think I have a shiny gligar in my newest games.

Make a shiny Weepinbell army!! How fun and silly! I've only ever found one shiny, but then I only got to the first gym before I stopped playing... I need to pick it up again!!

The irony is I love Weepybell I love grass pokemon, especially grass and poison types. So I guess they sense that about me. But no, no army. I have my first shiny Weepy (Scheherizade) who is now a Victreebel (very cool cold colours) and I may keep one other, as it has a different nature, but the others need a new home.

I'm sorry to take so long to reply here, the politics and all the other stuff going on with my accommodation arranging kind of distracted me. But I am still interested in trading the other Weepies for other shinies (not Gligar, I'm going to catch a gligar even if it means ending up with 70 Weepies!). I'd really like to trade the spares to ponypeople rather than random strangers, and I have very few shinies other than ones my friend caught me and water ones I've caught with rod. The only other random shiny I've ever found was Pachirisu so...

I am home atm and with my game but I'm going back on Fri or Saturday depending on whether my sister needs my help with her move on Saturday.
