Friends Forever comics by IDW - quick question :)

Hey everyone, happy Monday!   

Just a quick question. I wanted to get a My Little Pony comic book for my daughter's birth month, which is November 2015.

I did some research, and I discovered that I would need issue #22 of the Friends Forever series (please correct me if I'm wrong!).

Does this actually have the date on it? Does the magazine say anywhere that it's the issue for November 2015? (because that's the whole point of me buying it  )

I've been looking at the cover online at the IDW website, but all I can see is an issue number.

I thought it might be fun to put some stuff together for her, all to do with her birth date, such as her birth stone pony November Nights, the comic book that was out when she was born etc.   

Also, if you have any more ideas of stuff that I could get, I'd love to hear about them!

I just checked, you're right; the one you want is issue 22 which came out on November 4th 2015 and focused on Pinkie Pie & Princess Celestia, the exact premise is Princess Celestia asks for Pinkie Pie to prepare a cake for a party she's holding for Princess Luna and Pinkie has trouble finding the perfect one (It's really cute)


Having said that I actually have a copy of this one (normally I just buy the compilation books) and they don't have a date on them, just the issue number (possibly because the release dates aren't always predictable, earlier that year there were two non-consecutive months that were skipped and one month that had two releases)

Wow, November the 4th?? That's her EXACT birth day! What a shame the date isn't on there!!   

If you check the first page or the back or anywhere, doesn't it even just say 2015, without the month?

Given the realease date you told me, looks like I'll HAVE to buy it though, haha
