Italian Pony tail holders are different?
« on: June 09, 2016, 01:24:44 AM »
Hello,

I was wondering if it's normal for Italian Ponies to use a small brown rope for a tail holder instead of a metal one. I've seen several of my Italian ponies with a small piece of rope sticking out of their behind. I first thought someone had replaced the metal clip that holds the tail together and replaced it. But I just got another bunch from Ebay and see that the same rope is sticking out.

I opened up my seashell because I thought someone had replaced the tailholder. (I don't like messing with ponies) I think even if they have tailrust or anything. I would never open the neckseam. Cause it feels wrong to damage it and take away the origonal parts.

But now that I got this pony I regret opening my Seashell cause maybe it's normal to have a rope insteal of metal clip.

Anyone knows more about this?

Yes, thats pretty normal for italians. They have a metal clip and a rope to hold the tail in place. :)
