I like Moon Dust and Serena (forgot to vote for Serena  ).  I like yellow bodied ponies in general and then Princess Serena, she is just a very pretty, delicate, color.

I can only vote for my namesake in this poll, because all of the accessories listed for the first set apply only to the US release, and I only match my Princesses to their Uk accessories, as that's what I grew up with (as well as UK names)

Otherwise I would've given a second vote for Princess Pearl, but only with this hat:

I also love that Princess Serena is coming second. She is definitely my second favourite of the Princesses. However I can't forget the Brush and Grown Princesses. Skylark, so pretty.

Princess Dawn (although maybe with Princess Misty's aqua wand and blue crown) and Princess Serena. 

I've had Dawn since I got her new as a child, and she was always one of my favorite ponies.  (I've had Princess Sparkle since childhood, too, but I've never cared for that pose.)  I just got Princess Serena last week and think she is beautiful!!

I agree, poor princess sunbeam. I would love her more if she wasn't in Tootsies pose. I really can't get excited about ponies in that pose.

Also, is it just me or does anyone else not like that set of Princesses as much because their weird tinsel hair often looks a little freaky....

Tiffany and Taffeta of the regular releases. But if you were to talk about the alternates,  GITD Princess Royal Blue hands down!

For some reason, the G1 princesses never really caught on with me. I think it was because as a child I thought their names were too boring, LOL. I own Princess Tiffany, though, and she's gorgeous! But my favorite princess is Baby Princess Sparkle (does she count?).
