Teeny Seapony Wave Dancer

Hi ponies,

This teeny tiny seapony has been sat in, on and around my desk since 2007 in an unfinished state. Finally, yesterday I painted her up and sat her on a seashell.

To date she's the only sculpted thing I've ever done. She's made from Milliput. I had mixed up too much Milliput rather than throw it away I decided to make something.  She was intended to sit on the back of a sea themed pony. The pony ended up being something else.....

Wave Dancer has been painted with acrylic paints and the seashell is covered in glittery mod-podge.

She looks so sweet and delicate, like she just washed up or got caught in a tide pool. I want to hold her!

Very cute!    It must have been difficult to paint the eye and the fins on such a tiny sculpture..they look great!

Your first sculpted thing? It looks fantastic! I made tiny sculpted ponies for the previous Holiday art swap and I must say painting the eyes in that size is a pain. You did an amazing job!

Ponyqueen that was the look I was going for with the custom pony she was intended to be sat on I'm glad I've been able to make her look delicate

Medley: I have a few size 000 brushes that I use for customs the fin details were literally the touch of the tip of the brush!

Griffin: yes, she's the first sculpted thing I've made I hope she's not the last either I've got a few more ideas, but it's finding the time.
