Plastic washers for tails

I was thinking about this the other day and had searched high and low in every home improvement store around. I had found and come up with nothing and sitting at my computer I felt I had imagined the ones I had seen before. Then I look to my right and there it was, a plastic washer! It hit me right then and there where we had picked them up. Me and my husband race RC trucks and the washers keep the body clips from scraping the body. So If anyone has been thinking about changing out metal washers for plastic ones you can find them at hobby stores where they sell RC trucks and cars. They are the same size as the metal ones without the risk of rust. 

Sorry for the long story but when I remembered them I had to explain.

The soft plastic ones are what I have used in the past when I am giving a pony a completely new tail! Super helpful tip

Good to know! I wonder how they compare to the plastic or rubber washers from home improvement stores (they're usually in the plumbing aisle  )

Good to know, When I replace a tail washer I just stick with the plastic zip ties and hair bands since it's what I have on hand currently but I'll certainly look into these!
