h2o2 bath...pony floats???
« on: January 09, 2016, 08:34:27 AM »
I knew that ponies float, but for some reason I didn't consider this when putting my glory in an h2o2 bath. I have a whole bottle of the stuff in a container, but the head and body float up to the top no matter what I do. Is there a trick to getting them submerged?

Maybe try to weigh them down with a plate? :) Or then just turn them once in a while.

What I had to do with my Baby Surprise when sunfading was put a few glass marbles inside of her body so that she'd be weighted down, worked like a charm.

Yeah, once she fills with water she'll sink. :P Be careful if you're sunfading her, that blue streak will fade.

I never had a problem with ponies floating so much... mostly because when I do a bath like that I have their heads off so the water is inside and outside... only issue I tend to have is when there is a pocket of hair in the foot of the pony XD
My DeviantArt, why not drop by and take a look!

She's "baity" and hairless/tailless so I'm not too worried. I'm just trying to get her as white as I can before I resculpt her bitten off hooves.
