Hi there! I'm Ari! I'm 21, and I'm currently attending college, (marketing/pr and communications major!), and I live in NJ! I'm really new to forums, it's been so long since I've been on one...but I'm glad I'm here!

Anyways, I only got back into ponies very recently, so my collection is super-duper sparse. I mean, I only have a Lyra and a bait Desert Rose I'm working on making an Amalthea custom out of! A lot of my old ponies were thrown out by my mother when I went away to college, but I am happy to start again!

I really, really love the G2 look--my favorites of the line are the Princess ponies but there's so many cool space themed G2 ponies too! After that, my favorite look is G1, then G4, then G3, in descending order. Honestly, I just really love unicorns so much.

It's very nice to meet everyone<3 I'm happy to be here, and it's a little hard to make introduction posts sound cool, but I hope to have a lot of fun talking to people!

And I didn't even realize it was the hardest-to-find stateside gen, either! Which is a shame, it really flourished in Europe, but it only makes me want to collect them more!

Welcome! G1 was my childhood gen, and by the time G2 came out, I was in middle school, lol so I was in the midst of my "too old for this" phase. I don't even remember seeing them in stores (which isn't surprising, considering they weren't in the US for long and I wasn't actively seeking them out). When I saw people's pictures of them as an adult collector, I used to think they were so strange-looking and didn't care for them at all, but they've since really grown on me!

I was lucky enough to happen upon a few G2 in a mostly-G1 lot at a flea market only a couple of months ago - so don't think it's hopeless to find them in the wild!
