Hi from Minnesota!
I'm new to collecting. Back in August my mom gave me my ponies from my childhood and I was devastated to discover that several had been pretty much destroyed by her boyfriends 6 year old twins. We're talking buzz cuts and 1/2 inch tails. Thinking they were ruined I started looking around ebay to see if I could find some replacements. This led me to realize I missing TONS of ponies I used to have, my mom isn't sure what happened or where they may be. It also led me to discover the world of pony restoration. I was amazed to discover that there's still hope for my ponies! I have begun working on cleaning and restoring my collection of about 40 G1 ponies. I have about six that need rehairing badly but have run into a few obstacles along the way, I'm hoping I can still save my Gusty but I'm not very confident now. I'm excited to save my beloved ponies and hoping to add to my collection as well.
