Hi guys,

I'm a 30-something Canuck living and working and loving life. I have collected ponies for a long time, with a preference for select G1 ponies. My collection is considered pretty much complete for the moment, though I may start to hunt down the Big Brother Ponies to add to it. For now, I am hoping to sell a few ponies that I have on hand to make some space in my home. I look forward to meeting you all in the forums.

I have reviewed the rules and had a couple of questions:

1. What is an 'adoptable'?
2. At the risk of exposing my ignorance, what is meant by 'Nirvana'?

Greetings and to the Arena.

1. Adoptable is a small artwork you can put in your signature/avatar that you "adopted" as your own. The adoptable maker offers a specific template, and people can come by and request for their personal pony or favorite Hasbro pony be made in that template. For example, the pony in my avatar was made by Squarepeg. The two in my signature, the left one was made by me and the right one by Teagan Louise. But you can see they all depict my pony.

2. Nirvana is a word we use to apply to foreign variant ponies made in countries other than China or Hong Kong. For example, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Netherlands, etc and so on. They often have differing poses and/or color schemes, and tend to cost more than the usual variety of ponies. But they are lovely.
