Custom Sweet Scoops Mommy Charm

I recently upgraded my Pretty Please Mommy Charm, and decided to use my older one to create a custom Sweet Scoops :)

I used pure acetone and Q-tips to remove her symbol and as much mane and tail paint as possible.

Using white nail polish and a tiny brush, I painted her mane and tail in two coats of white.

Once she was dry, I painted over the white polish in bright pink.  Using the white undercoat really helped the pink color pop more than if I'd just painted directly on her purple body.

I used the tiny brush dipped in acetone to remove any excess polish around the edges of her mane and tail.

Finally, using a dotting tool, I did my best to replicate her ice cream symbol using white and light pink nail polish.  I kept a HUGE printout of the best image I could find from the web of a real Sweet Scoops charm nearby :biggrin:

I couldn't quite do the waffle lines on her ice cream cone, but over all, I am really happy with how she turned out!

Although I cannot take credit for the designs on my nails...I'm obsessed with nail designs and polish, but the manicure you see in the photos was done professionally :)

The bright pink polish is by Hawaiian Girl, I picked it up from an ABC store when I was on vacation. The lighter pink is Formula X brand by Sephora.

This is amazing! I tried repainting a G4 McDonalds Flutter shy and couldn't get nearly as much detail on her as you were able to do! I'm really impressed!
