Hair glued to neck

I'm working on my Sunny Bunch today.  She has a chunk of hair glued to her neck seam, and I'm not sure what to do to loosen it.  She was like this straight out of the box when I got her as a girl.  I was rather disappointed.  Her legs are also uneven, so she falls over easily, which always made me sad.

Anyway, any ideas on freeing that bit of hair?  I suppose it wouldn't really show if I styled it correctly...

(She has had a bath since I took this photo, so she's not dingy anymore. )

Loosen the glue with a swipe of acetone.  Just keep it away from all painted areas!

You can also try loosening the glue with heat, i.e. holding the pony over a pot of boiling hot water.

Also: I hate when that happens. I have a few ponies that had their hair stuck in their necks. How embarrassing for them!

Because of how close you are to the paint on her neck...I would simply try a boiling water dip initially to see if you can melt the glue holding the hair in place.
