Princess Luna and Spike Picture

My friend asked me to draw a picture of Spike hugging Luna, but something else happened instead. This picture is made mostly from paper and PanPanstel. Each layer is a piece of paper. Luna is cut from a metallic paper called Stardream. Spike is the only thing cut and coloured normally. I had a lot of fun making it, although committing to sticking everything down was tough.

I love it! It's neat how you used the vellum for the slight transparency around Luna, and I think all the colors work together so well!

Thanks Teddy! You don't see a lot of paper pictures out there. I have a huge paper stash that needs to be used, heh!

My friend is a big fan of the Calgary Flames gothicsugar, so hockey came to top of mind right away!

Medley, I was so stuck on how to make Luna look "magical" and glad that the vellum worked out. I'm not even sure how I would have done it with a regular media picture.

This is really cool I love collaging/paper pictures but I admit I'm not dexterous enough with cutting it. Great Piece of work.

Pickwick, it sounds dumb, but with practice you can be a super snipper. I cut the pieces in the crotch of the scissors as opposed to the tips and turn the paper as I go.
