Really Slow Shipping from Build a Bear? Pics of Luna in last post

I ordered a Princess Luna last Saturday and my order is supposed to be delivered tomorrow even though I chose Fed Ex Shipping. Just wondering if anyone else's order seems to be arriving a little slower? This is only my 3rd time ordering from Build a Bear.

I have never ordered from there before so I am clueless on how accurate they are on their shipping 

How quick were your other orders?

I ordered last Saturday too, and mine was supposed to be delivered today but it actually came yesterday!  So it did take over a week to arrive, even though it was only coming from the next state over.  Do you know where yours is being shipped from?  Also mine was sent via Fed Ex but at some point it went to the USPS for actual delivery *shrug*

Thanks ponylady and SunPony. It seemed like my other orders came a lot faster but I know Build A Bear  did get overwhelmed with orders during the sale. I usually choose the Fed Ex shipping because it's trackable and you are supposed to get it faster.

My Princess Luna came today. SunPony can you post a picture of your Luna that you got also? Mine looks it must have been one of the very last ones BAB had because the embroidery around the seams is rough even on her symbol.

Sure, I'm about to head out to run an errand but I'll get a picture later tonight for you     sorry to hear yours has embroidery issues     I'll have to take a closer look at mine, she looked fine except for a loose thread on one of her eyes.

I'm glad she arrived safely now  - I've heard/read a few people say its taking quite long to receive their items from them lately. Sorry to hear she has some quality problems though - perhaps give them a quick email if its something really bad

Hope these show the parts you are interested in    How does yours look?  I think mine looks pretty good, I'm happy with her.  She came from Ohio, btw.

Thanks Sun Pony. My Luna came from Ohio also. I'll try to get pics tomorrow. Comparing mine to yours, mine has a spot where the stitching either pulled away or was not done correctly under the moon but I think what I thought at first was rough embroidery might just be how Luna is made. I don't live near a BAB so I've never seen one in real life before. On my Luna I can see every stitch around her eyes (if they're sewed on/if not it might be glue.)  She is really pretty.

looks like the tension on their machines wasn't set right, to be pulling the bobbin thread to the front like that on the embroidery. They could have at least used a darker color thread. Unfortunately, BAB quality gets worse as their price goes up.

I think her symbol looks similar to mine, actually mine's symbol might have more bits of white.  I thought I might either try to remove them or hit 'em with a bit o' black sharpie.  But the eyelashes on mine don't have any white stuff around them, if that is what I am seeing on yours?  It looks like there is quite a bit...

I think the white stuff is thread like CoonhoundBetty said. I checked Luna's other side last night and there isn't as much on that side.  My Build a Bear Twilight Sparkle doesn't have it either. I don't live close to a Build a Bear Store so I have to order online.
