Benefits of becoming a Disney Cast Member?

Hey there!!! I question has been on my mind last night, and instead of googling I wanted to ask here because I know a few members here work or have worked for Disney in some way!

I live all the way in Texas far from the resorts but my local Disney Store is hiring and I was looking to becoming a part timer, but would do full-time. I really love their uniforms as well as the work enviornment!  I was wondering what the perks were for working there! Is it true I can get free admission to Disney World!? (possibly going there next year for vacation since we are only going to the beaches along the north Gulf this year)All year or twice a year? I read two free tickets a year, Jan and July, but I am not sure how accurate that is. Discounts on hotels, resorts, or merchandise? Free gift items exclusive only to CMs?

Another concern I wanted to bring up is I collect Tsum Tsums and Disney Store LE dolls on their release dates. I feel like there can be one of two things that happen if a CM wants one: Either Cast Members cannot purchase them on street date and have a friend buy them in line OR have first pick over them and buy them at closing. I know that a lady who works at my local DS has her mom stand in line for her to get the dolls, but I didnt want to ask about it and get them in trouble because everyone deserves a beautiful doll! x3

Heehee I was hinting at that! I just love that sorrcer Mickey in that cute box!!!  I heard they showed one at D3 as a wide release, but no special box and different design! Exite!

So...... "cast member" is at the Disney store what other stores call a "sales associate"? You aren't asking about working in a movie or play...... Right? *lives life in a state of confusion*
