Build a Bear and the MIA ponies

I looked at the BAB website and I noticed that Luna, Celestia and Rainbow Dash are no longer listed under their MLP tab or anywhere on their site. They don't even have the note available in outlets with a picture. What gives BAB?

Not sure about Celestia and Luna...they might just be out of stock. I was at Build a Bear the other week and I know I saw Celestia there....didn't notice if Luna was or not. I believe that RD might be retired. I'm not 100 percent but I remember hearing something about them starting to retire some of the first ponies that were released.

They are "limited edition" in so much as when they run out they run out. They are not continally replenished unless BAB decide to release the bear again. I would guess its possibly they have simply come to the end of the stock on these guys. They may well still be in some stores but centrally none will be available. BAB have released a few of them more than once (Dash and Pinkie especially) so its possible, if popular enough, they will turn up again.

If you Google them the links on the BAB site come up but they all say Out of Stock.  I know Luna sold out when they had the 40% off sale and I think she came back in stock briefly afterwards. Have you tried contacting them on Facebook? Maybe they can tell you for sure if they've been discontinued.

They are all back up except for Muffins.
