Very good points from everyone.
I look forward to seeing whether this line continues significantly, they're quite cute and it's nice to have some ponies suitable for younger children. I hope there's not any plans for a TV show.

I'm not keen on letting toddlers watch TV, but I think the current show is something that toddlers can watch. (So no need to make something specifically for them)

I also look forward to this line, although the time range for then to play is short. 18mo-36mo. So for parents, there isn't a chance to buy too much unless they have multiple kids.

I remember the thread about future gens, and that's exactly what I thought when I saw those Fashems things. It's like a toy designer saw that thread, and ran with it. The Playskool ponies are pretty much the same. I really hope this is not the look of future gens.

I do find it funny how they have similarities to what was suggested in the future of MLP thread. However I also agree that these guys are just a little spin off from the main line - so still G4. But it is interesting to think how the line will move on.
