Tumblr keeps magnifying my pixel art

I recently posted a small batch of pixel art on my tumblr artblog, and for some strange reason it keeps making them huge! At only 31 x 58 pixels, they're quite tiny. I can't find anything in the settings, tried changing themes, and even deleted and reposted them. It only does this to my pixel art, all of which are transparent .png files.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yeah tumblr is horrible with that.

Have you tried making it a text post with your pixel art inserted as an image instead of using the image post? I think that may work better.

Yes. It's because they're so small. If you make the transparent area around it bigger (not sure the size, have to tinker with it) it will stop doing that and show it at a normal size.

Nope!
Just make a normal 'text' post and click the little plus sign next to it to bring up a few options, click the camera one, and it'll let you choose a file from your computer.

Nope!
Just make a normal 'text' post and click the little plus sign next to it to bring up a few options, click the camera one, and it'll let you choose a file from your computer.

That just shows how long it's been since I used Tumblr in a browser to make a post. I'm mostly on mobile and that is not an option at all.
