Disappointed in Build a Bear quality? (Zecora)

I recently got Cadence and Luna in the mail and I was pretty satisfied with them. My only complaint is it's hard to get the wings to stay the way I want them to.

If you take them in and ask them to open them up then you can move the wings around The employees have always asked if I was happy with the way the wings sit and let me fuss with them until I was happy. Sometimes the fabric itself is a bit wonky from being squished (I really dislike how they are crammed in those bins) and there isn't much you can do about it

I didn't know about getting them restuffed. Thanks guys for the suggestion! It may be something I do in the future. Problem is I don't even know where my nearest BaB is.

I own Celestia, and 5 of the main six, they have great faces and symbols, however some the tails are very thin  , Fluttershy has the better hair of all

Wow, I've never had anyone ask me about the wings on any of my winged Ponies. Interesting.

I would say I am happy enough. Yes, they are expensive. But its a large branded plush - in a store that is notorious for being at the higher end of the middle market on price - so I think quality is ok for what you are paying. Once you add all the accessories (my eyes were watering when I bough a complete Fluttershy) then they can indeed get to the "woooah what am I buying" kind of level But thats normal for BAB accessories - its not the plush itself after all. 

However if you have a problem with them, I certainly think its worth speaking to BAB and seeing if they can get you better versions.

The cost is okay - you are paying for the novelty of stuffing your own toy and all. I do think a lot of the damage occurs due to the way they are stored, which isn't an issue for most of their plushes as they don't have bits like the pony wings so I guess it was an oversight. I do begrudge the online-exclusives being more expensive (even before postage!) considering buying those is no different from buying any other soft toy as you can't choose them or order them unstuffed (Not in the UK anyway)
