How do you "de-stickify" G2 ponies?

I have several European G2 ponies that feel sticky. How to get rid of the stickiness without damaging them?

Get some baby powder and rub it over the stickiness.  It's just the plasticizer starting to break down and ooze out from the vinyl.  You'll have to do this a number of times until the plasticizer has completely left the plastic.

Make sure before you add the baby powder, you give them a wipe over with a good degreasing agent (such as eye make up remover) or similar :)

I give mine a good bath scrubbing them with dish soap. If I can get their head of I scrub them on the inside too using an old toothbrush. After a while they can get sticky again though.
