Does Anybody Know How to Use GIMP?

I'm trying to put buttons on my YouTube channel outro.  I can get them pasted onto the main image, but I cannot move them around.  I've tried Googling, no help. Anything I find on it does not work.  This was so easy in Photoshop!

That may help. Try pasting them as a new layer and then move them.
