G2 Status Symbol?

Interesting.   As a G2 Collector I'd sell an organ to get Click and Nosy MOC.  Or the Sailboat twins MIB.

While the unicorns are pretty, those twins above, are next to impossible to find still in the package.

OH!  And the other twins that came with playground toys - those should be!  They are adorable still in the package.  I squealed when I'd finally got a set MIB in the mail!

  I agree all of them are hard to find , I was thrilled to find the Play Area Twins mib , the slide twins was hard to come by more than the other 2 ,I lucked out finding the Sail Boat Twins not long after I started collecting G2s
the MOC unicorns are not plentiful either, but is hard to find them loose with Wings than Moc .

Thanks Hilamb, those are great links. I love those winged unicorns and the playtime babies with the cute playground! Oh and who are the ponies with the dolphin and the painter's palette? They're so pretty!

I think Hilamb nailed it Right now I think that Silver Swirl (first version) is becoming more and more popular and expensive.

I saw an Army of Princess Silver Swirl ,long before I went into collecting them ,but I also dream with an Army of her
And then an Army of each one of the other Unicorns ,decided to get an army of at least 7 of each of the 7 unicorns Moc or Loose
I have them all  almost complete now but  Diamond Glow unicorn is the hardest to come by  I only have 3 so far ,hunting for a Moc of her as well and the second one harder to come by is Golden Glow 2 , I still need 1 more to achieve the goal of 7
the easiest one to complete was actually Princess Silver Swirl ,and her Light up version  were the 2 I was able to complete faster ,then Silver Glow Unicorn , Copper Glow Unicorn and Golden Glow were a bit harder to come by but I did manage to complete them and have Mocs of them ,but loose with Wings I only have Diamond Glow and Silver Glow ,I have come across them here and on ebay I just refuse to pay the prices the go for now just because is more than what I have paid for the Moc ones I have
otherwise I could have them as well, just not going to pay more for a loose one than their moc ever I dream of finding wings for all of the unicorns:) 

The dream of  Princess Silver Swirl army  did come trough .............we will find out

As others have said there is perhaps a difference between the pony every one wants and the super expensive gals. Putting aside variants Nosy & Click and Study & Play are perhaps the pricest of the bunch, as are some of the later twins. But Hip Holly, Silver Swirl and Copper Glow are probably the ponies most people want to add to their collections.
