Hmmm, so since I of course bought the set since it came out I'm very confused by this episode. I know in pony world not everything follows the same time line, but this one threw me off. Teddy is after Sweetheart in like every episode except in this one he suddenly wants to go to the dance with Bon Bon. I've always thought that was super weird.

Ive always understood Sweetheart and Teddy being real friends, not 'liking' each other that way. Since Sweetheart knows Teddys secret, and tells no one.

Hmm, then what about the episode where they visit Teddy's cusion and Teddy keeps referring to her as his girlfriend and gets mad when his cusion kind of likes her? I totally get what you're saying. I just think they make them seem couplish.

Also in Bon bons diary sweetheart sings "I like teddy but I can't confess it."

I never really gave it much thought other than him wanting to go with her. Maybe as friends?

Hmm, I have to order it anyway, but ill watch this episode first.

In the finnish version, they dont talk about 'girlfriend' or 'boyfriend' style, they say friend. Thats why I have never tought about it like that.

Although that look Sweetheart gives Teddy as she sings that line implies quite the infactuation, I don't ever really think that they  really do like (romantically involved) each other, it's more of a 'I got your back' friendship in my eyes (Note, the UK comics portray the Teddy/Sweetheart thing as what I described earlier).

I think Sweetheart likes Teddy, but it's not reciprocal. In the same way, Teddy likes Bon Bon, but again, she doesn't really like him. Yay, high school drama!
