Rooted or sculpted, I think the idea is a great one!

You could show us what one painted looks like, then offer the blanks! I would like to see a pony bjd with brushable hair, I don't think I've ever laid my eyes on one!

some updates! im in the process of testing the plan out on an actual baity pony, and so far i think its going to work! i'm testing out some different methods of stringing and such and so far the first method i suggested seems to work best. expect completed molds and possibly even a first cast sometime before the end of the month!!

Sounds very interesting!  Very much looking forward to seeing what your product looks like!  I am certainly interested in a bjd pony depending on how it turns out.

I am impressed that you anticipate getting molds and casts done all by the end of May, you must be a very experienced mold maker! (I have considerably more trouble, lol)

Definitely very interested in how this turns out- I love custom ponies and bjds!

i'm really not, i've only done a few things with molds and casts before but i think i found a method that works for me!! there's this type of mold-making putty stuff that you can get at michaels and it's always worked like a dream for me, and i think it'll work perfectly for this specific project! fingers crossed, though!
