How to remove nail polish from shirt? :T

It's a 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend, and from what I've read soaking it in acetone will melt it. Is there anything else I can do? This is one of my favorite shirts.

Ok, this will sound crazy, but it does work! You can use a little acetone to get the majority of it but then use bug spray (off! bug spray). Yes, it thought it crazy too, but its done miracles on my bed sheets and their an off white color. Its also good to have a toothbrush or that Tide Spinbrush handy as it will come out just with a little work.

Mom has a dress she got some polish on..but the dress and nail polish are the same colour.  I might let her know about this^^

Thank you all for your responses! I don't actually have any acetone at the moment, but when I do, I'll try the bug spray method.

Maybe take it to the dry cleaners if you think it might be too risky?
